An exciting opportunity has arisen for a private sector business leader to help shape the future transformation of Clay Cross. There is an opportunity to Chair the Clay Cross Town Deal Board which has secured Government funding for £24.1m.
The Chair will bring their expertise to the board to provide strategic overview and steer of the projects identified in the Clay Cross Town Investment Plan which is focused on the following:
- New Leisure Centre – Clay Cross Active
- Low Carbon
- Town Centre Redevelopment
- Skills and Enterprise Hub
- Connectivity including Rail Station Feasibility
As well as chairing the meetings, which are held monthly on Friday mornings, you will be expected to champion the projects, help to raise the profile of the Clay Cross Town Deal Programme and help to engage with key stakeholders. This post is non-remunerated.
